A good buy
Palmer Power Link System Standard Lifters
February 20, 2006
I didn’t buy these risers so much for the needed clearance for my big feet, as for the curiosity of how they would actually perform. As they say, these risers do help edge to edge transition quite significantly. And they soften the shock from a hard landing a little bit. Although I don’t know if they are something that you necessarily need to spend the money on if you don’t have overly large feet.

Best thing you can do to your bindings
Burton Capstrap
February 20, 2006
Awesome. These straps have been the missing ingredient for my bindings. I have a tendency to do my bindings up way too tight and my foot kills by the time I get to the bottom of the slope. So I decided to try these little beauties and I love 'em. I can do them up as tight as I dare and I feel more secure to my board compared to conventional toe straps without all of the pressure that feels like its going to squeeze off all of the blood flow to my foot. PS, they will fit on Drake bindings as well as Burtons, if your willing to make some modifications.

Nixon Super Rover Stainless Steel Watch
January 21, 2006
I’ve had mine for just a few weeks now, but I must admit it is the best I have ever owned. It is very heavy duty with an almost indestructible feel. It is very sharp looking, although mine came with half of the links a black color, however I think it looks even better.

Drake Podium Snowboard Binding
January 21, 2006
I’ve been riding on my podiums for two seasons now and I have had no problems whatsoever. The look sick and have phenomenal response, Burton has a good thing with the toe cap strap, but these are just as good.

Giro Bad Lieutenant Audio Helmet
January 21, 2006
If you’re looking to stand out, or just looking for something different, this helmet is it. It looks sweet and I can not say enough about the audio feature—best invention in snowboarding, ever. Works great with an iPod.

Burton AK Glove
November 15, 2005
These gloves may be a little pricy, but don’t let that deter you from buying them. My fingers have never gotten cold in these gloves. If you wear both liners your hands actually get to hot! For such a warm glove your fingers still have a ton of dexterity. A great glove.

DAKINE Terminal Backpack - 2100cu in
July 1, 2005
This back pack is the most comfortable bag I have ever owned. My Laptop fits comfortably and snug with out any awkward weight distribution or poking into your back. It has pockets for everything you can think of; the sunglasses pocket is a very nice touch as well. If you don’t need this much room than go with the DAKINE 101.

Little pricey, well worth your money.
Burton AK Glove - Mens
January 4, 2005
I was drawn to these gloves because of the Brand (burton is about as good as it gets) and for the Goretex shell and 3 layers of protection. Out on my first ride I became very impressed as the wind was blowing and the temp was well below freezing, and I didn't even have to use the bottom layer!!! YOu would have to be an arctic adventurer to use these babies to their full potential. Thanks to Backcountry for their excellent selection and service.
