The Vindur hoody/jacket/sweater/softshell is incredible - it combines the best features from your avorite winter-wear to make something you haven't experienced yet! And the Icelanders must have woven in some of their magic geothermic-heat-crystals into the Vindur's wool blend becasue this thing beyond warm! The inside is a brushed softshell fabric so you get an "I'm so Nordic" look from the outside and an "I'm so comfortable and warm" feeling from the inside.

Planet Earth Fairborn Button-Down Long-Sleeve Shirt - Men's
October 31, 2006
Apparently there's something about wearing a button up shirt that makes people think you got it going on. Must be because all my old skate t-shirts are just getting frayed and played and just to casual to rock at work. And this button up is cheap enough that I bought two - so twice a week peeps will think I got my shiz together.

The North Face Fortress Peak GTX Hiking Boot - Men's
November 28, 2005
I've been wearing all-leather hiking boots since they were called "waffle stompers." There are some great boots out there but this North Face Fortress Peak is stealing their thunder. TNF has been able to combine Gore-Tex weather protection with the all-terrain traction of Vibram in a boot that doesn't break the bank! And they don't break your feet either; their leather uppers and gusseted tongue are pliable while being supportive making break-in time minimal—you don't have to wear them out before they’re comfortable!

Best shoes ever!
Vans Old Skool Lace - Men's
November 28, 2005
These get my vote as the best shoes of all time. Their design is clean and timeless, which is why kids want to rock them and true old schoolers can't get enough. The gum-rubber soles are so grippy that I swear I can walk straight up a wall with a new pair on!

Coal Waffle Beanie - Women's

Ibex Woolies Rib Zip T-Neck - Men's
November 28, 2005
This shirt is soft, comfortable, warm, and stylish. As a bonus, it hardly ever has to be washed. If everything I owned was this hard working and easy to take care of I could go back to sleeping in my car in the parking lot of Crystal Mountain and getting first tracks while you're still at home looking for your long underwear.

Run, run, run
Vasque AMP Trail Running Shoes - Men's
November 28, 2005
These Vasque AMPs are awesome for long, rough trail runs or even day hiking! I'm impressed at how stable they are from the arch to the heel while still being flexy enough to give great toe grip and comply with uneven terrain. The top is extra meshy for maximum breathability. This is a top notch trail runner. Get the all yellow ones so the cougars can see you coming.

DAKINE Tangle Beanie - Womens
October 27, 2005
This beanie looked sick, so I bought it. But it was too small. It's supposed to be for girls so I don’t know what I was thinking. It’ll fit a girl well, but not my disproportionately enormous head.

DAKINE Tangle Beanie - Womens
October 21, 2005
Overall these glasses are rad, but they didn't fit me so well. I have a medium to big face/head, so the large size of these glasses was ok; just the bridge was too narrow and the glasses sat too high on my face. I returned them and have been squinting ever since.

Nixon Super Rover Stainless Steel Watch
September 22, 2005
This watch is dope. I get a ton of compliments on it and what else is a watch good for? Its chronographer functions come in handy when timing how long it takes me to get to your girlfriend's house. Snap. I wear it skateboarding and snowboarding because it can take a beating.

Oakley Montefrio Sunglasses by Shaun White
September 22, 2005
The Montefrios are too cool. They fit bigger than most Oakleys do so they feel good on my medium to large dome. I have the Brown Gradient version and the lenses are sweet with great definition, natural color transmission and no distortion. The other colors have gold trim for added bling.

Gone Fishin'
Burton Fish Snowboard
September 22, 2005
If you are lucky enough to ride in Utah powder you have to have this board! There’s nothing else like it for bombing the trees or dropping in to three feet of fresh. Forget what you think you know about having to have a long board for powder. The Fish is short and wide so your hind leg never wears out while charging through deep snow all day.

AK all the way
Burton AK 3L Jacket - Men's
September 22, 2005
The Burton AK 3L jacket is too sick. I like to hike out of bounds at Brighton and this jacket’s Gore-Tex material is the way to go for breathability and dryness. All of the vents are easy to get to with out taking off your pack. Technically this jacket can go head to head with anything from the North Face or Arc’teryx, but you won’t look like a tech-geek because Burton is smart enough to give it smooth styling. This year’s version is made from Gore-Tex Softshell for extra warmth when chilling on the chairlift. I have a medium and it fits rad; I’m 6 and 170 pounds. However, if I wanted to wear more insulation underneath I could easily go with a large.

You be the Judge
DC Judge Snowboard Boot - Men's
September 22, 2005
Man I am impressed with these boots! Their BOA system kicks a** at holding your feet down and is super easy to adjust. Probably the easiest boots to get in and out of. DC's Airliner is sick too, I like the ability to totally fine tune my boot's fit even while sitting on the lift! And a heater too - DC isn't holding back. The Judge is stiff and good for full-bore shredding on steeps and Chinese Downhills against your peeps. Park rats should check out DC’s Patrol or Emblem boots if they want to rock the BOA.

A 686 original
686 Original Snow Toolbelt - Men's
September 21, 2005
The Toolbelt is the first product that I ever saw from 686 like almost ten years ago. The belt itself is made from heavy leather and holds up to being worn snowboarding without stretching and getting waterlogged. The tools come in handy when you’ve hiked to the top of Wolverine Cirque and discovered that your buddy’s binding screws are loose – definitely no place to drop in with a screw loose! I’m kind of scrawny with a 31 inch waist (medium snowboard pants) and use the Toolbelt in a size medium.

686 Perforated Skateboard Toolbelt
September 21, 2005
The 686 Skateboard Toolbelt completes my skatepark kit. I got the white one because it is sick in a Ramones and Clash sort of way. You can make friends at the park by helping out other skaters who might have a screw loose or opening up ice cold (root) beers at the end of a long session. If your emo-skinny like me – six feet tall 31 inch waist – get the s / m size and definitely rock the white one.

AK is what you need when you ride 100 times a year
Burton AK 2L Vent Pant - Men's
September 21, 2005
I have been a big fan of Burton AK gear for some time now. The 2L pants rock for hiking in the backcountry. They have awesome venting and of course keep you dry because they are made from Gore-Tex. When you jib through the park you won't look like a mountaineer because the 2L pants have a loose fit and dope style - not skin tight and tucked in like serious granolas wear. My last pair of AK 2L pants are finally fading out after five seasons of snowboarding - and I ride about 100 days a year (no lie.) I'm six feet tall and weigh about 170 pounds and wear a medium, but then again I’m more indie-rock than hip-hop so other shredders my size could easily wear a large. AK = Awesome and Killer.

DAKINE Bronco GT Glove
September 21, 2005
I buy a pair of DAKINE Bronco GT gloves every year. They look like park gloves but are insulated enough for the middle of winter. However, if you are a cold person or not doing a lot of hiking I would recommend the Bronco GT mitts or maybe the AK Oven mitts from Burton. The Bronco GT’s palms are extra grippy so you can hold on to nose grabs and methods until the last second. I like the short cuff because it has been proven to be ten times cooler to wear your gloves under your sleeves instead of over. The reason I get a pair every year is because I wear them three to five times a week all season long and they get a little tattered and stanky. At such a low price the Bronco GT is such a good deal for a Gore-Tex glove that I don’t have any problem picking up a new pair.

KR3W Recon Shorts - Men's
August 31, 2005
The KR3W Recon shorts are a totally heavy-duty. These sturdy cotton shorts are obviously made for those of us that spend time at the skate park; they won’t shred after repeated falling. The billowed back pockets are dope and KR3W puts in subtle details, like a logo on the fly, just to be cool. I’m six feet tall and 167 pounds and usually wear a 32 or 33 waist but had to go with the size 30 ‘cause these things run big! Keep skating.
