So, does the second hand doesn't generally work I take it. Its only designed for the chronograph and not for normal time like what second it is of a painful work day?

The watch itself is a chronograph, offering both timekeeping and stopwatch functions. The small dial on the bottom is the second hand dial and continues to tell seconds, while the large yellow hand acts as a second hand and doesnt move until you have pressed one of the buttons activating the stopwatch. The middle left and top dials both work with the stopwatch and dont move otherwise, with the left dial counting hours and the top dial counting mins.
As a side note, the time it took you to read this was approximately 60 painful seconds...
