Salomon Foil Alpine Ski

The Salomon Foil's Monocoque construction and versatile dimensions will help you stomp in the park, powder and every where in between. The outer layer of this Salomon freestyle ski doesn't just look pretty—it actually spreads the load when you land a trick. By diffusing the pressure outward, the Foil's monocoque construction makes it easier to stomp in variable conditions. An Isocell Complex foam core cuts down vibration while reducing swing weight so you can finally pull that last rotation. Not just a jibber, the Salomon Foil's 83mm width underfoot gives it enough float in the pow, while a deep sidecut allows you to zip all over the mountain.

Bottom Line: From peak to park, put it all on the line with the Salomon Foil Alpine Ski.

Da Foils

Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet since I just picked them up about a month ago, but I have no reservations about the capability of these skis. I anticipate no more than sheer bliss once I can officially strap them on somewhere other than in my living room. I will be sure to follow this up with an actual review based on their ability to rip it! I definitely recommend them to all!!!

I mounted the bindings 1/2 way between park and downhill. They are lightweight, carve well, spin well and do not grab on the boxes/rails. They stay on top of powder. I have looked long and far for lightweight park/downhill skiis. I fell in love with light skiis last year with SPK's, but they did not float well downhill off-piste. I love the combo of light-weight, mid-fat, twin tip, shorter (166), mid-mounted, sintered base skiis. Tim
