Soft seam-taping in critical areas provides insurance against persistent storms, while Kevlar reinforcing at the hem protects the Odin Guide Pant from ski edge slices and crampon point punctures. Helly Hansen included inner thigh vents to dump heat at base camp, and welded pockets to shave weight on the final summit bid.
